This was a great holiday read. It's packed full of feels. Emma just grabs at your heart with her back story. all I kept thinking she deserves a HEA and family. Going to visit a long time family friend is the best life changing decision she made. I loved Bentley. I loved how Emma challenged him and made him realize some things about himself. It's a beautiful holiday read that will get you right in to the Christmas spirit. I highly recommend this one.

Emma was a bit all over the place with her emotions, had a huge chip on her shoulder, and walls up to keep others out. I’m surprised she sought out her father’s old friend Elliot even though she was at her lowest point. Bentley worms his way in, but she has so many insecurities especially pertaining to his former crush Daphne. He was sweet at times but also pushed her kind of hard and made some silly mistakes. I was surprised they moved in together so quickly.

4.5 stars. I just loved Bentley and Emma, their banter and response to each other made for very good reading. I believed in their connection and chemistry and liked them both individually and as a couple. There were pasts to face, emotions to deal with and so much love, support, acceptance and understanding in this lovely read, this might have become my favourite of the series so far... I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
